THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Yikes!!!! Bryce shut down!

I set it up to render overnight (forgetting to save scene first) and when I came back and hit alt/tab, it just simply vanished at 47% AA. Any idea where it might have stored the info?

Fractals will always amaze me!

tresamie, try looking in the folder you save the scenes to or look in bryce folders. My girlfriend had something simular happen to her and she found her work in windows/temp folder, beats me why it went there. If all that fails i hate to say it but you might be re-doing your work.

The temp folder is where windows programs store files they are working on. Sometimes the data doesn't get deleted when a program closes, like when it is suddenly shutdown without going through the normal routines.

I was afraid that was where it would have gone...but no luck. I am redoing now, but it's ok, I think it will be better :) Thanks!
