I've tried, but the texture maps don't come out when I render... what am I doing wrong?

Do the texture maps that come already installed in Poser 4 render OK? What if you change one of them... do you get no texture, or still the original one? Set the material color to plain white if you want your texture used "as-is". Otherwise your texture's colors will be "multiplied by" the material color.

I've tried that but it still doesn't work, I've applied a different texture that I've downloaded and when I render it looks exactly like the normal texture...

have you checked "texture maps" under "render options"? Mary

Chick, you're not a very talkative guy (gal) are you? How many of these steps can you do: Step 1: Business Man, original. Step 2: jacket object color set to white. Step 3: texture orange.jpg loaded (this is a plain orange square, make it in a paint program, for example). If these all work, then you will need to tell us more, painful as that is for you...
