After reading about the many frustrations in finding Poser poses for American Sign Language (and sign language in general), I decided to put myself to the task of creating a multi-volume set of ASL poses. Since signing is a dynamic gestural language, it was obvious that animated poses would need to be employed. So, for the first time, as far as I am aware, these signs are being codified into Poser animated poses applicable directly to the Poser 4 Male, but also to other figures with little or no modification. As with any of my products and other efforts, constructive criticism is always welcomed in order to improve the product in the future for those who have already purchased as well as potential customers. I look forward to continuing to expand this set of poses and improving them. Kuroyume0161

Wow! These are great! It is truly a wonder that these haven't been
done already, but I'm glad someone finally did. I worked as a
direct care provider, case manager, and assistant manager in group
homes for deaf adults with developmental and mental disabilities
for 10 years before I had my second child and became a SAHM. My ASL
has gotten a bit rusty, but these look wonderfully accurate. It
takes some skill to recreate hand poses like these..particularly
with the P4 stock figures, and to add in the partial poses to
recreate the proper body language makes it all the better. Thank
you >^_^
