Was said before ; does not matter which video card you get, Poser will not use it's performace. Is tha true still? After Poser 5? Case things have change, which one will be better for using with Poser 5? Note: I do not use Games...just Poser,Photoshop,Painter etc.. 1-Radeon 9600 256mb DDR with VGA, DVI-I & Tv-out 325 mhz Engine / 200 mhz Memory 2-ATI Connect 3D X800 Pro, 256MB 475 mhz Engine / 450 MHZ Memory DDR, DVI, TV-Out

Yes. Get a high-end video card only if you play games or run applications that use Hardware Rendering.

openGL seems to be the way things are going. I would be surprised if Poser did not use OpenGL for its display next version!!!! For future proofing it might be worth making sure your card is openGL compatible. And, if possible, that its drivers can let you specify settings on a per program basis.

thanks guys, So good to know before making a big mistake again! Now: "that its drivers can let you specify settings on a per program basis. " Does Nvidia GeForce FX5600 gives me that? where do I specified that? Since I'm in >Display Properties>Advanced>.......? Thanks!

With nVidia drivers v66.93 There should be a GeForce DDR tab. then go to performance & quality settings You can add profiles there.

So here we are! Now when I'm at this point( pic) what do I do?How to choose what for better Poser memory, Perfomance so to say... Should I have to save before in Poser something? And if is like that, where in Poser I do that? Only know how to 'set the preferences' in my Poser ProPack (not using Poser 5 for the moment, since I'm not very use to the interface,
