I know this might be a silly question to ask but i need to know before my girlfriend buys me a couple of models. Can Bryce import multi-object, texture mapped 3DS files?

i believe so...but don't quote me on this.

You might want to be sure they're not 3DS MAX. Bryce can't load those (yet).

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

There are two versions of the model. One for Poser and the other is a 3DS version. So i'm hoping that the 3DS version is .3ds not .max

MAX format is a copyrighted format unique to 3D Studio Max. Deep Exploration can convert a MAX format to another one but you must have 3D Studio Max on your computer to do it. So what you can do is installing the 3D Studio Max demo (for 30 days) and Deep Exploration demo (for also 30 days). Then you can convert all your MAX objects you have on your computer. That's what I did for over 400 objects I found on Internet. Michel
