A very sad passing. But I am sure she is much more comfortable now. It is the living who will be missing her. Thank God she is now out of pain. She often helpful to me and I used her tutorials often, still do. Susan

Gilles,

My deepest and most sincere sympathies for your loss. I know your family must feel such sadness, I'm at a loss to know what to say. David and I both extend our condolences to you all.

Guitta's skill, artistry, enthusiasm, and generosity touched me deeply in so many ways, and she truly leaves a worldwide legacy in so many people who learned from her. She was also a very no-nonsense person, with a wry sense of humor that could often make one laugh at the absurdities in life. She could also be very warm and compassionate, as she was with me when I lost both of my parents in 2002. I will always remember her many kindnesses, her humor, and her incredibly beautiful images. And every time one of us renders an image, a tiny bit of Guitta's spirit will be there.

I am speechless. I was under the impression from our last conversations that Guitta was getting better. Apparently, it is classical that people suffering from this terrible illness feel better, and then, suddenly, without seemingly any reason, they drift away. I had prepared some stuff that I wanted to send her to keep her cheerful. But she will never see it... This is very sad news. Guitta was a wonderful person and a Vue fan right from the beginning... She will be dearly missed.

Veritas777 ( ) posted Mon, 06 December 2004 at 1:34 PM

Her spirit has been released to the heavens and the stars and she now has many new friends among the Esprit angels...

My heart is broken and my tears are endless. The only thing that brings me joy is all the love that the Vue forum and the Rosity community have sent to Guitta over the past few months. I know that Guitta was overwhelmed with the warmth of everyone's affections as she read the well wishes, cards of hope, and images of love that have been posted to the forums, or sent to me via email [which I printed and passed along to share with her]. Thank you all for showing so much love to someone so loving. ******* Guitta, you shall be missed more than you can ever know. I love and miss you oh so much. gentle hugs go out to heaven for you. Your friend always, Dee-Marie

Guitta created wonderful artwork and moreover, she helped others to become artists. I never was in a close contact with her over a long period, but I owe her very much. She was the most important tutor in my early Vue-ing days teaching many skills, how to wake up a living space with this tool. I believe that artistry is an indication that our life, albeit being brief, is of an immensurable value - it bears the seed of eternity within. Sincere condolences to you and your familiy, Gilles. - Ona

I think speechless is the phrase I've seen most so far in this thread and that's exactly how I feel, I'm not sure how to put it into words, the loss to this community as a whole and to all the individuals in it, she will be missed!

I know she wanted to stay much longer but her body said it could not... I "see" her in heaven being as creative as her spirit truly is! I am sure she is there helping others to see beauty also, how could she not?

I remember when I was first made aware of your illness, I wrote that although I did not know you personably, from the looks of your following, you dealt a great and caring hand in this community, otherwise, these people would not be here today asking about you. Now you have decided to make your journey and you have left us behind, all the more wanting and asking why. God speed Guitta and thank you for your precious treasures. We have learned from you. Truly a sad thing. It was not a waste of her time to produce such a legacy of 3d art as she has done. All of what I looked at briefly was a real awakening and an example to follow. I certainly hope that what she percieved as heaven to her is a reality now.

My condolensces to your family and a prayer to you and yours; Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die....
