Hey BT can I Participate again....? I could come up with Quite a few more then the Recent ones only a Few have seen...Hint...Got alot going on but I think I can dedicate some time into helping...Need tutorials and such..? I am doing a few tutorials on useing Bryce for full 360 degree scene's and doing Not just stills but full Blown Animations...
I think I need to clarify something :) when I say "size doesnt matter"...thats fairly literal. See, a dvd movie is 720 x 480 pixels. The images provided will not be part of a "slide show" per se' but will be part of an overall visual where bryce has assembled the images provided into a presentation. For instance, it may appear that someone is looking at a computer screen and the images appear there, or a filmstrip may roll across the screen and the images will appear on each frame of the strip...or some other thing. There will be foreground and backgrounds and lots more. So any size is usable. No need for large renders. Even images as small as 320 x 240 are useable for this. and animations too (small ones like the 320 x 240 mentioned above) large renders just arent necessary..and aspect isnt important either as the image will be part of the overall presentation. Kinda like having adobe aftereffects doing effects to an avi, except bryce will be doing it all. :) clear as mud? heh BT
re your remark about small animations.....since Bryce is so much about terrain and textures, I woulda thought it'd be a very cool effect to have a LARGE animation at some point, whole screen, of a viewpoint zooming down, then levelling off and travelling across/through a landscape, finishing up at the word Bryce (yeah, how cheesy can you get!!). The word could even be incorporated into a big 3d-gaming-type gate, to get the point across that people could use it for gaming maps and environments. Just a thought.........
Feel free to use my images if you like. I can even send you some without the tags.

hi all not too long ago, I asked for the communities' help when I went to siggraph as a demonstrator for DAZ. Now its time to ask for your help once again. In the near future, I will begin the arduous process of creating a "Learn Bryce" tutorial cd/dvd set. The first in the series will be an introduction to bryce that not only shows the interface, but showcases this little program and the capabilities it has in the hands of the talented people who use it. One part of this cd will be a flashy intro which I hope daz will use on a big screen at future shows..and thats where you come in. I'm looking for art...your best art. The limitations? Size doesnt matter (I think I heard that before..lol). Content? NO nudity..none..zero..zip..nada :) you will recieve full credit for your work in the credits of the cd/dvd set...and the the flashy intro which will hopefully catch the eyes of a lot of folks at future computer shows! It could be YOUR image that inspires the next great bryce artist. Please send your art or a link to your art, your screen name, your real name, and your email address to my email address at DAZ. brycetech@daz3d.com I will try to come back to this thread to see replies, but I cant promise that (Im really busy). The best way is to email me! I'd like a LOT of art...a whole lot. :) thanx David BT
