THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: here's an idea for AS

draculaz ( ) posted Wed, 08 December 2004 at 7:53 AM · edited Fri, 17 January 2025 at 11:38 PM

this was done on other tight forums i was on and i think it's a good idea. one of us (preferably someone we all like/trust/etc like zhann, brycetech, or any of the other usuals) should talk to spike and get his hospital address. then based on that, the person should give us usuals the address on trust-basis so we can send him get-well-soon cards. depends on how much longer as will be in the hospital, but i think it would be a good idea. i hope he's doing okay :( drac

Now that is a cool idea. Sounds like a very good plan. 8)

Or we could get his home address, so we can send him 15,000 fruit cakes at christmas time. Because...well...no one likes fruit cake, and getting 15,000 in one day would be rather hilarious. Yeah, it does sound like a good idea though.

I just talked to the front Office.
Kirk is home. They are going to pass on the Request I made to whomever makes those decisions about releasing personal information and Someone will IM me.

Let you all know the minute I'm contacted.

I'm not sure I would want a small community of Emotional Expressionists to have my Home Addy, So what do think of this proposal...
We send our "Get Wells" for Kirk (AgentSmith) to Bondware (Home of Renderosity), and Contact Someone there that will Handle a Re-Ship in it's entirety to AS at home.
We would have to have some sort of arrival deadline at Bondware for us to mail these. This would allow the Renderosity Liason a ONE-TIME shipment out to Kirk.

FEEDBACK??

ICM
Rod p.s. Kirk, I hope you're not at home reading this. ;)

ICM: But if we knew his addy we could all go and visit him in realtime/reality-thingy ...you know like whatjacallit? that real-world whatsit....in the flesh so to speak.
15,000 brycers turning up on his doorstep at his tiny little apartment would be a bit fun too..........

WTHeck.....give us an addy and I'll send him a card! (And a list of so-called Brycers who have been playing away from home, threads that need to be locked, sub-standadrd renders, guys who are a pia etc) BTW, great idea, Drac! Do they have snail-mail in Romaniac?

Hey, if possible, create your card with Bryce and print out a copy??

Wow, I'll send somethin if I find time. ... Anything to make AS feel warm and fuzzy inside.

diolma ( ) posted Wed, 08 December 2004 at 6:25 PM

I am (probably) a fruit cake (UK version, not US version..) Cheers, Diolma. (P.S. - If I get my "Rendered in Bryce" Xmas e-mail card into any reasonable form, I'll send AS a personalised copy.) Cheers again (and wishes for AS's speedy recovery).
