Subject: HELP DYNAMIC CLOTH

Hello, I'm italian. I'm a new Poser 5 mac user. t I don't get on to use use the dynamic clothing , from the figures library and props library both, How I can to do? It's like impossibile! I've read the manual and other online tutorials but I don't understand.... I don't know the 3D world. I'm an 2D artist, but I need Poser to create simple poses for my artwork. I don't need to make an animation. thanks to whoever help me

You can't use dynamic clothing without making an animation. That's how the cloth is draped. It's not that hard. Have you tried the tutorials at PoserFashion.net? There are free dresses you can download there, and each comes with detailed instructions.

You could also use conforming clothing instead. (The stuff in the Figures library.) No animation is required. However, you have to make sure that the clothing was designed to fit the character you are trying to dress. A dress made for Victoria won't fit Judy.

hi manubart hope your getting to grips with poser, I'm building a site at the moment, which has some details on the Cloth Room, and a pair of Combat Pants for V3 available for download. http://www.posernode.co.uk/main.htm have a look in the Tutorials and dowload section. I too only produce static images, but the cloth room is great for that. The clothes hang better in my opinion. John John
