To the gang at the malt shoppe, Has anyone out there run into an "Error 5000" when using the latest maconverter? At first it wouldn't convert files until after I had placed them in Poser Pro, now it wont convert them at all. Oh, and I'm running MAC OS Panther. Thanks, Taioseach

no problems here (version 1.1.8) It is placed with the other applications in the panther application folder... Iam running panther too and of course the classic OS9...

I don't remember seeing this either. Does it happen to all files that you try to convert? Sometimes Maconverter will refuse to convert a file for me, but most files work. I also have Panther, 10.3.6 to be exact, but Maconverter 1.1.8 has worked with earlier versions as well. Have you tried reinstalling Maconverter and dumping the prefs?

Do you have antivirus software running? Look at the link in that case.

Error -5000: accessDenied; Incorrect access for this file/folder. Sounds like the usual permissions problem to me.
