There's a tutorial on making clothing with Anim8or at the above link. What program are you trying to export from - Poser 5? And what exactly are you trying to export? What options do you check? Where are you saving the exported file?

I'm using Poser 4 + Pro Pack. I'm trying to export "parts" of the Girl to make figure templates. I'm following this steps: http://poserpython.com/ClothTut1-1.html I tried to save the files in the Daz The Girl Geometriesfolder, in a new folder I made named "Girlatwork" and in the runtime folder. Nothing seems to work though. It shouldn't matter where you save the OBJ. You just have to know where you are saving it, so you can find it again.
When you say "it disappeared," do you mean you cannot find the exported OBJ file on your hard drive? Or do you mean you can't see it when you import it into Wings?
If it's the latter, you're probably just not zoomed in enough. Poser uses a scale that's very tiny compared to most 3D programs. So when you import a Poser object into another program, it's often so tiny it's barely visible.
All right. You say you press "save." The last thing you click before exporting an OBJ should be "OK," not "save." Do you mean you aren't getting to the point where you get menu with "OK" at the bottom? Do you see that menu, with the options like "as morph target" and "include existing groups" on it? Does any new file appear in the folder where you try to save the OBJ?
You know, I had no clue what you were talking about when you first posted this, but last night, I had the same problem, only with Poser 5. Actually, I didn't even get that menu - after naming the file and hitting "save," it looked like it did it, but it didn't. I finally had to switch to ProPack to export my morph target.
I think Poser's OBJ export is rather buggy. Sometimes, you can't "as morph target" on that menu, but clicking on the Windows taskbar "adjust date and time" fixes it. The only thing I can suggest is reinstalling. Poser tends to get corrupt easily.
Also, if you tried removing the "mac" i/o plugin to speed up your library, try putting it back. I loved the way that sped up my library, but I couldn't export OBJs properly without it.
You might want to ask about it in the Python forum. I sometimes have Python problems, but usually re-initializing Python fixes it. Sometimes I get an error message when I try to re-initialize Python, and I have to re-start Poser to get it working again. I think it's a memory issue. Maybe my hard drive's getting too full or something. Or maybe it's just Poser weirdness. It tends to get corrupt every once in awhile, and you have to reinstall.

I'm trying to export some stuff and import them in Wings3D, but it doesn't seem to work! I really press the "Save" button and my computer gets busy saving, but when I try to import my file in Wings, it disappeared! And I really can't find it anywhere. What went wrong?
And is there a good tutorial about making clothes with Wings3d or Anim8or? Tnx!
