I'm going to attempt to create my first custom character, and I need to know where to begin. I'm probably going to use Vicki or the standard P4 Nude Fem. Where do I start? I know I have to use custom textures and morph targets, but the included info. in the manual isn't very helpful. Anyone point me in the right direction? A link to a good fat tutorial on this? thanks -christian

Start at MorphWorld2.0; there are enough Morphs there to create just about anyone (with practice).

For modeling from photos, check my tutorial. Unfortunately, it's written in a hurried fashion (I'll fix that tonight), but it covers the basic technique. Look for "Making the Better Portrait" on the home page.
