ah..they've had Maya before, but there was the watermarking thing, and no export..managed to get Bryce 4 (now I have one for work, too..;) on the 3d World..which has hit the stores a coupla weeks ago here (we're waaaay behind on this side of the pond..;)
I'm a bit stuffy; if it watermarks, can't export or save, I tend to pass it by..but you can import Poser characters into Bryce; conversly, you can make pretty good landscapes to turn into backgrounds for Poser, so it works either way.
