Oh this can be a tough one.... Some people develop a style that is all their own... You can pick out their distinctive work from others without having to be told who it is by.. Personally I don't have a particular style... I go with what I am feeling at the moment.. My mood often dictates what I end up with.. Most of the time I have a thought, a vision that I try to translate.. More often than not I end up with something entirely different.. Other times I just start playing with a program and something evolves all on its own.. I have looked at your gallery (the link you provided) your work is good. Why not do a trilogy... The passage of time and depict your character from youth through middle age to old age.. It would be interesting to see how this would be interpreted.. Sorry this was so long.. Its hard to actually advise anyone else what to do as for the most part we are all in the same boat...

I couldnt get to your site, but my isp sucks, so I wouldnt worry about it...but what I do when I can't find inspiration is try to learn something new...it works out well enough for me :) and everything I learn brings my art to a whole new level...things I've learned in the last year due to lack of inspiration in order are - draping of fabric (that was fun to learn, and people really seemed to like the results of that learning experience), uv-mapper short version (this learning experience kinda proved profitable since it started the remapped dragon, and the textures for the dragon), improved hair and flesh techniques (special thank you to ellusion for helping me improve in this area), and my most recent learning experience is uv-mapper again the long version steve cox is a god and when uv-mapper pro comes out I'll be first in line for it! I guess my point is never give up due to lack of inspiration, it usually means you've gone as far as possible with what you already know and its time to learn something new...the learning process itself can be super inspirational to the point of overwhelming...and if that fails, then go watch a movie or something ;)

i couldnt get your site either... inspiration?...where does it come from?...we all have these dry spells, hell i'v been in a dry spell for 44 years...lol... but seriously...the best bet is to try to relax yourself out of it. stress isnt a good sourse of inspiration... take another long leisurely look at the gallery(s) here and the other sites... inspiration has a way of lurking and pouncing on you when you least expect it... if all else fails take up one of the challenges, or help someone else with their projects.... so much to do, so little time :O)

Y'all have a great day.

heyas; if you don't find it too depressing, a trip through the galleries might spark some ideas :)
