Nice work, with very little Post work. It would be great to see more work like this. To bad we do not have a Poser Gallery for work like this, ... oh but we do ... it's just loaded down with (OMG OMG VOTE) Mixed Medium Art. How'bout it Moderators ... think we could have a Poser Gallery?

That picture is great. I particularly like the street reflections on the car. The only thing that spoiled it for me is that the figure seems to be lit with indoor lighting, it would look much better without the figure, anyway. It looks like the accursed v3.

It would be good to have a poser only gallery and bryce vue and any other renders could go in the mixed media gallery.

That is an excellent image, thanks for pointing me in the direction :-)

Wow, that was really rendered in Poser? I was impressed when I saw WIP overhead views of this urban cityscape of his, but I'm even more impressed with this closeup look. All that detail! I'd have thunk Poser 5 would choke on it. Wonder how long it took?

well..I'm very happy Niles you liked my pic enough to link it here..really humbled, thank you :) Xantor..I kind of agree about the lighting,I had to jump through hoops to get it lit the way I wanted and after 30 odd test renders I just gave in and accepted it as is. I think maybe the purple light is too strong and detracts from the mood of the pic and there are other minor thing's that could be done better..but hey,for a change I'm really happy with a pic I did :) randymm..after the 30 odd test renders to get the reflections and lighting right..the final render took about 40 minutes on a gig of ram..the environment rendered very smoothly as it's low poly with small textures..just the reflections that slowed it down I think, Cheers Stefan PS:you should check out the gallery of L.W. Perkins, she has such an ecclectic style that's taught me to never get stuck doing the same thing(sci-fi in my case)...& this image was started basically on that premise..to do something different

xantor - from what I hear form ppl I chat with on the site, Mixed Medium is viewed differently by different ppl... some say that mixed medium refer to artwork manipulated/composed using different programs, others view all digital art (no matter the program) as ONE medium and if they were using 2D and Poser or photography and Poser etc... then they would consider that as a true "mixed medium" work. Though if all post-worked and/or items created in programX where ppl also used other programs were uploaded to Mixed Medium then the Mixed Medium would be teeming with activity... :> cara

First: I agree that the image is wonderful. Fine composition, good lighting, very atmospheric. I like it. On other matters, I personally feel that organizing a gallery by what software you use is pretty useless. I couldn't care less what something was rendered or rigged in. I care about the end result, not the software. I also don't consider "100% digital" to be "Mixed Media". Just my personal opinion(s).

It just seems a bit pointless if the picture is in the poser gallery and it says rendered in bryce.
