Hey, my car's under a foot of snow. So I (kinda) have an excuse to play with Wings and Bryce all day. Of course, that didn't stop me sending the wife off to work.

When I first saw the Liberator I thought it flew the other way. With that in mind, here's a one man fighter using that model that flies the way I thought it should. (Will be in free stuff soon)

And here's my justification for playing in Wings all day. Had snow, thunder and lightning last night. Crazy country!

Welcome to America, LOL. I'm so friggin glad its where you are this year and not here yet. We've only had a few inches so far but that basically looks like last year's weather for here. (Please no snow, please no snow... Ang chants) Oh cool model too! :-D

And every State is like a different country. We haven't had any snow here in the Portland,OR/Vancouver,WA area so far this Winter. Our average temp here is almost a perfect match for London's, but the rainfall is more like Manchester's. I still have some Marigolds toughing it out despite the few frosts we've had so far. Don't hurt yourself shoveling snow, lol.

Holy God!! That snow's terrible :^(

drawbridgep ( ) posted Thu, 23 December 2004 at 1:30 PM

Already hurt myself shoveling snow. :-( But it's just another excuse to lay down for the rest of the day. I live just north of Indy and yesterday we were in a calm patch, with no snow, but go 10 miles in any direction and you hit a foot of snow. So I guess we made up for it today.

:-D you think thats snow! ROFLMAO! I ended up buying a snowblower because I can't shovel snow without all my muscles spazzing out on me. :(

draculaz ( ) posted Thu, 23 December 2004 at 2:15 PM

oh come on... i mean the roads are okay, you cleaned the footpath, all the other cars have obviously been moved... get your ass to work. give a shovel to your wife and tell her to clean up that snow :)

drawbridgep ( ) posted Thu, 23 December 2004 at 2:20 PM

Ang - Yeah, it's snow. I'm English. We get two flakes and the whole country shuts down in a panic. Drac - I cleared a path to the road for my wife's car at 7 this morning. Not a lot I grant you, but remember I'm an unfit lazy B*stard. But I feel good, 'cause I went across the street and helped a neighbour clear their drive too.

tee hee - just right-clicked to see how if you'd linked the image from elsewhere, or how you'd done it.

drawbridgep ( ) posted Thu, 23 December 2004 at 2:50 PM

Don't be doing that. Check the source of the page for how I did it. :-) Anfy is the best thing ever. (Apart from Bryce, wings, renderosity, sliced bread, christmas...)

I ended up buying a snowblower because I can't shovel snow without all my muscles spazzing out on me. And then you spazz 'em out anyways trying to get the d*** thing to start! (Unless it has electric start) LOL! So far it's just cold here w/o the white stuff...

I just looked outside and there is no snow anywhere. The sun is shing, its warm but what else could you expect in Australia at this time of year :p Feeze Phil ;)

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

I'm actually surprised it works at all. I'm linking to java applets on my webserver in order to display a picture here. You would need to have java installed though. So could be that. -13c right now and falling to -20c tonight.

...er....is that white stuff 'snow'?

Actually, the bookies have slashed the odds on this being a white Christmas.
Here in the UK we have this every year..'Will it be a white Christmas?'
A White Christmas is defined as ONE flake of snow landing on the Met Office roof on Christmas Day.
Current odds = 7/4on.
And after all this I forgot to thanks Phil for his models...Many Thanks, Phillip!
