Subject: Stuck with grey background in P5!!

Anyone ever have trouble changing the background color in P5? I know how to use the various tools to change the background, but in this particular project (which has been saved many times) the program no longer allows any of the tools to work to change the background color--it's stuck on grey and when I click other colors from the pallette, nothing happens. Is there some setting to lock the background color that I accidentally activated? How do I get out of this? I really need to change the background color for this project. Thanks in advance for any help.

In the material room select the background and delete all the materials attached to it and any others just sitting there and now the background can be changed. It is a small bug, I think it is new to sr4.

OH THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! That worked so easily! Ask me how much I am kicking myself for not having come here earlier to ask this question? I blew my whole evening trying and re-trying everything I could think of, and eventually I had to employ a cumbersome workaround whereby I made a plain jpeg of the color I wanted and then imported it as a background picture. You have saved me much frustration. Thank you!!

I was glad to help, I think this only affects pz3 files.

So I'm not the only one who experienced that. Thanks for your hint. Saves me from a lot of troubles.
