Wasn't there supposed to be a upgrade for Bryce to 5.5 before 2005? What happen to that? Didn't Daz take orders for production packs with coupons good for a discount on the upcoming release of version 5.5! I see that Bryce 4 was released for FREE on several CG magazines.

Daz released a statement saying they postponed the shipment until January to ensure quality. It's posted on their site somewhere in the forum section.

I'm sure with the recent price drops of Vue and MojoWorld they are making sure people get their bucks worth.

The statement on the web site was pretty clean. As someone who ships new software product for a living, I'd have to agree with their decision. Although...it does up the anticipation!! :)
