Hey, all -- Thanks for the comments. There's still a LOT to do -- the wheels, the undercarriage, the roof-mounted air-conditioner and patagraph (that allows the train to draw its power from the above-the-street electric lines), and the coupler between this and the next car, as well as this and the rear-half of this car. And, oh, yeah, the interior! Despite the name "Ocean Beach," the N-Judah line never actually goes to the waterfront. It makes it out to La Playa, which is beyond 48th Ave, but still about a block from the ocean. You can see the Pacific from the train, but it's not really on the waterfront. Bummer, too, because that would be very picturesque.... This particular train will be used in a movie I'm working on; since the City probably wouldn't let us derail a real train (let alone allow us to send it into an alternate dimension!), it's Carrara to the rescue.... I'll continue to post as there's more progress. I really appreciate the feedback and positive strokes! - Dex

I've made some more progress on my train model. No texturing yet (well, aside from the sign in the window and some basic color stuff on the lights), but more progress on the body. I've also spent a fair amount of time taking photos of the trains; it's amazing what having good reference material will do!
So, as usual, comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
