My ex is in malaisia near the coastline, I have heard the waves hit there too but there's no news about it on tv! I haven't heard anything from her either, but that's not that out of the ordinary, after all, I dumped her because she refused to make any time for me whatsoever, but still I'm worried!

This is just so heart breaking, so much suffering and we hear that most of the dead are children. Just got a Reuters clip about people in Sri Lanka running in fear of a second tsunami was ready to strike. Several news clips: [National Public Radio](http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4245761)"but I guess no-one is willing to take a chance." According to the media over here they took chances on the first one by not telling anyone it was coming "out of respect for the tourist industry". If that's true the people who decided it should be put on trial for mass murder.

Lucifer, Ive read that there was a mix-up with the strength of the earthquake. They got alerted about an earthquake of 8.0, a strenght theyve had before without problems. But youre right. Its no excuse. They had many hours to warn the rest of the countries that suffered from the disaster, and didnt. Well, donations have been made here. Twice, because my gf made one without me knowing. Even better. The thing thats bugging the hell out of me, is that Swedish press writes pages after pages about Thailand, but only a few sentenses about the places that suffered a lot worse. >:(

Just read on Yahoo that the toll is now over 125,000. So tragic.
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

you know..its strange.. but alot of other stories that are amazing have been turning up..there was a 14 year old girl..who hung onto a floating door... the door had sea serpants (snakes).. and none touched her. Another woman saved twins of another woman .. and caught onto what she says was a huge sea serpant the size of a telephone pole... that glided her to higer ground..

It's on tv..pple running all over... they say at 1.30..one hour from now...how true is it? how panicky? They say the waves are too high..so there is a high cchance of another one hitting.. it's a pretty bad sight to see on tv..a nitemare in reality " NEW DELHI, India (Reuters) -- The state government in India's Tamil Nadu state, one of the areas hardest hit by Sunday's Indian Ocean tsunami, issued a tsunami alert on Thursday and warned people to leave coastal areas. Police said aftershocks in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, near the centre of the huge earthquake that caused Sunday's tsunami, were "likely" to cause high waves. Witnesses said police sirens were blaring on beaches in Tamil Nadu and residents were running away. The death toll in India is more than 10,000, out of a total figure of more than 80,000 people, more than half of whom died in Indonesia's Aceh province."
