9 hours to go here. The celebration this year will definitely not be as jolly as usual.

Its new year here in Australia. All the best to you all and may you have a good year. All my thoughts will be with those that lost loved ones through the tsunami and for those that have the big job ahead of them with the rebuild.
I have opinions of my own -- strong
opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.
Coming in late as usual, but still almost 7 hours to go in the UK. As everyone is saying, much reflection and thought this year, but this tragedy has helped me to put my own sad reflections into perspective. My thoughts also are with all those affected by it.

It's 2:15 pm 2004 here in Tennessee. :^) So Happy Old Afternoon to you all!
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

LOL...sheesh, we should have done this in 2000 so all you early birds could have warned us if systems were going to crash!! Or better yet you could have typed stray characters and made us all nervous. Happy New Year from snowy Colorado all you early birds!!! (mind you I'd much rather be on an Aussie beach)
2:25am. Happy New Year. we had a 2 minute silence before the fireworks out of respect. Wishing you all a better one!

Remember 2000 and the y2k scare. For new years eve for that one I had ask a friend at work what his plans where. He said I'm sneeking over to my nieghbors house and turning off his power. Just thought I'd share that. Happy new year all.

Not to worry Jasonmit.... I am later yet.... The new year came in here about 8 1/2 hours ago.... Unfortunately I had to work last night and didn't get to enter the New Year properly. None-the-less.... Happy New Year to all of you here in the Bryce forum. You are a very cool bunch of peeps and I appreciate you all very much. Also, yes.... many spare thoughts and prayers for those affected by the earthquake/tsunami. It is so hard to comprehend the magnitude of the devastation brought on by an earthquake that was on the floor of the Indian Ocean, and the resulting tidal waves or tsunami.

bleary eyed and off balance, AS lunges towards the key board in a fit of barely successful sobering-up Merry New Year! (nearly 3 days late, lol) AS
