ok i finaaly figured out how to make clothes transparent, but i keep getting that plastic sheen thing until i render the image, but then as soon as i move the camera(view) it goes right back t the mesh thing, is there anyway to stop this cause its a pain having to reneder everytime i want to move the camera

Anytime you move or change anthing you will have to re render. As far as the mesh display goes you can change to texture shaded display , but this is just a preview. You still have to re render for the best results. You can change this on the document display style on the main screen. Should be the last ball on the row.

Hi insect!- Well, first of all, make sure you are viewing in full textured mode - it is the last button in Document display, you might want to arrange everything with transparency off, then turn it on for the final render. You shouldn't have to render until everything is in place.

If you are using a transMap, make sure that the Max/min on trans scales are each 100% and that highlights are zero. You can get a glowing ghost effect on the transparent part if there are highlights set.

thx for the repies guys:) i was also just worried about animating if id have to render every frame lol, but i found out that u can make the movie pre rendered as well:) one more question i have though is there anyway to remove morphs for characters, some characters ive made i loaded with so many morphs i dont even use a 3rd of them, but i cant seem to find a way to delete them?

Jaager ( ) posted Mon, 25 December 2000 at 4:29 PM

Easy to do. In Poser - hierarchy editor - show params = you see morphs show all params = you also see full body morphs Just you be careful what is selected when you hit the delete key. MM4 will delete easily. CR2edit probably will also. If all else fails, you can text edit them out.

You can delete morphs two ways. You can use Morph Manager by Mason (great for copying morphs from one file to another and combining them as well) or you can open your hierarchy window, choose show all parameters and then go to the body part with the morphs you want to remove, click on the left of the name and press delete. Make sure you spawn a morph target (for the face for example) before deleting all the morphs you used to create it. You can find Morph manager here http://www.geocities.com/mr1_x_1/index.html
