Dreams about falling usually occur as You're "falling off" to Sleep. They may be triggered by a drop in Blood Pressure, a movement of the Fluid in the Middle Ear, or a Limb dangling off the side of the Bed. Some Psychologists believe that these are Archaic Memories from the time when We were Tree-Dwelling Monkeys. The Ape-Men that survived their fall passed on their Genes with the memory of the event. Now I can relate to this! I haven't ever hit the ground and man at times it feels as if I am falling off the top of a skyscraper, like I will never stop! Excellent depiction of a dream Tedz! :)

Excellent entry to the challenge. Great work as always Tedz art AKA HC and IMO the peoples artist I havent had a falling dream since I was a kid. As usual I am gonna be different, I have always had falling dreams at the end of the sleep and wake up with a start just before hitting the ground, this would usually occur just before the alarm went off!

Wow..... I was thinking along the same lines for this dream challenge. When I was a little girl I used to have a recurring dream of falling, and to this day I still remember it.

There was this very large and tall tree stump in the backyard where I lived. I used to dream that I was climbing it and just as I would reach the top I would fall, I would wake up before I hit the ground. It was very disturbing to me. As I grew older... much older, with the ability to analyze it..... I think it was my subconscience's way of dealing with all the turmoil that was going on within my house. sigh

Ohhh I had an even worse dream - Twice I have dreamed I was dying, and actually did die! Which is a much worse then falling and hitting the ground :p Great composite as always Ted :) Dee-Marie
