I just wanted to post a link to the amazing and touching image that cynlee posted as a tribute to a wonderful gentleman. Thank you so much cyn for sharing this very personal and private moment with us, your online family. Gentle hugs Dee-Marie

hi guys!! :] this was awfully sweet of you Dee... thank you sorry bout not enabling the comments, but i have a ton of ebots already that i'm saving up & i knew all of you would be offering your condolences & praises & hugs & i thank you for that too the house is all clean, waiting for more relatives to arrive any minute from Chicago... couldn't stay away from RR & my "family" here but had to pop in & check on stuff yesterday we went to Pop's brother's funeral (out of 11, now only 1 is left)... how ironic, guess he got out of going after all as it would've been hard on him... instead of saying goodbye he's saying hello... to all that have gone before & to his wife, who he's missed terribly at least he died the way he wanted, how we would all like to go i imagine... in his sleep & he did have full life ryno added this image to his faves saying "The roots of America are shown in this image. Good hearted, hard working common folk built this land" so true... & now that he is gone, his father's land will once again be split up... which happens with each generation... land is precious, everywhere... what once were great "ranches" are either split between squabbling siblings or snatched up by the gov't :P k... guess i should go... miss you! xo cindy

Don't know what to add Cyn. Just to say I am sorry for your loss and the guy looks to be a good man. A man that lived for his family and his land. Maybe, just maybe the siblings will work together to let the land stay whole in memory of their father and their heritage. Hugz and prayers... Magick Michael

I just wanted to say it again. I love this picture with it's delicate color treatment. An up close and personal vantage as if you are speaking with him or he's being interviewed. Already the Rancher is classic. All clinical aspects aside though, Big hugs and Soggy licks to ya through all the dealings. Peace on. Over - n - out

Looks like a face of much experience.I'm sure many have learned from him.My regrets go to you and yours,but also a smile for the peaceful way in which it ended.One can only wish for that. Also an image the family can cherish.

cindy...he's beautiful. i love his face, his wrinkles of experience, his eyes...everything. i look at him and wish i could have known him. i look at him and see my grandfather who died in his 80s...part native American man who lived life working hard. anyway, i'm so sorry for your loss. my heart goes out to you and your family. i am glad he died in a peaceful way. in his sleep. no suffering. love you girl! hugs and prayers, sheila
