Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 29 10:50 pm)
I can certainly make you a face to your requirements, provided I have the model you are using and it lends itself to the shape you need. I have just about all of the currently available Poser Human figures except for the latest by Arduino and Alexnest, so the availability shouldn't be a problem. The main thing is, don't expect me to make Judy look like Eve Herzegova cause it ain't gonna happen, although I think I could wring a passable Susan Sarandon out of her. :) Bear in mind that Judy (the P5 woman you mentioned in your earlier thread) is awful to work with and it takes a whole hell of a lot to get anything out of it. I don't use the Face Room so that's not an option for me. As far as supplying a nude model in 3d space, that's not a problem, provided you have the models I use to provide you with the scene. Poser would cross its legs and fall over if you try to load a PZ3 if you don't have the appropriate textures and/or geometries. For what it's worth, I'm also a "traditional" artist and earned my living from drawing and painting stuff. I've turned out a couple of comic books in the past, but I have nowt online, other than my gallery here.

I love your art. Excellent work! Feel free to post more examples. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

OK folks, here's the deal. Is there anybody out there that is able to do this? It's just a thought. But anyway, I'm a semi-professional comic book artist and I swear by Poser 5 and Bryce 5 as excellent useful tools for what I do. However, the process of using them can be quite tedious, because it takes away from my time that I should spend drawing, which takes forever in it's own right. So, my question is this: Is there anyone out there that could take a face that I draw and come up with a face in Poser that looks close to it? Also, is there anybody out there that, if I gave some breakdowns of characters and drawings to, could pose it out and put it into the three dimensional space that I desire using these programs, which I would then use to aid me in coming up with the final piece? I don't know if this is even remotely possible, but if anyone knows of anyone that could possibly help me out, let me know. It'd be fun to give it a shot. Some of my drawings can be found at: http://www.msu.edu/~stegmanr/ajpg1.htm http://www.msu.edu/~stegmanr/trailer1.htm http://www.msu.edu/~stegmanr/joe1.htm I have a ton more. I get paid for my work, and I would pay whoever did this work for me as well, if it ever got to that point. I guess I'm just trying to plant a seed and see if it grows. Hope to hear some good ideas soon! Ryan
