i've do some postwork at this shot with photoshop... i've change a little hue and increase the contrast... i prefer the tones but i'm not satisfied of the shadows between apple and fabric... someone can help me to make it not so hard? thanks!

Not sure I can help too much. In a real scene, the colors of the cloth will reflect onto the apple. And the colors of the apple will reflect into the cloth. In the highlights this reflection is minimal. In the shadows, even the small shadows in the cloth texture, this reflected color would be more apparent. With the cloth, a "dull" surface, this would tend to desaturate the reds, (a red color illuminated by a green light). With the more shiny apple, the shadows facing the cloth would take on a reddish surface glow. The shadow around the stem is not facing the cloth, so would be unchanged. Even though the cloth is a dull surface, it will have a few green specks. With wet paints, one would "pull" some of the colors together.

In my humble opinion ... this "problem" could be solved with a previous study of the lighting to be used.

Artificial lighting should never have just one source and direct lighting produces excellents effects but not in this kind of photo.

Anyhow this is an excellent composition !!!

in photoshop ,i dont know in english ( burn and dodge tool ? )in german Abwedler.you can use this brush in different power 0 - 100 %. have some tries. gerhard

... the previous shot has an apple more yellow and the cloth more orange... light come from a little window on the left... some seconds of exposure, the place has not enough light... extreme conditions to shot... so... thanks for your help! i'll try your precious tips this night! see you friday hope with a better image! :)

OK. I guess maybe I misunderstood your question. I thought you had re-colored the apple and cloth, and was wondering why it did not look exactly right. When re-coloring something, you need to may close attention to reflections. logiloglu, and logiloglu daughter, and solrac have a better idea. This is sort of what I was talking about.
