Subject: Is Renderosity too BIG?

OK, this isnt a question, Im just voicing frustration. Renderosity is so big! I try to limit my time in the gallery and only look at Vue and maybe Rhino, then I jump to the forums, and pretty soon Im overwhelmed. Then once in a while Ill look at gallery/all and see some really great stuff I missed. Then I do have to work so I can keep buying software, and it would be nice if I actually used it a little more. Sleep, whats that? I should never have come to this place. ;) Gary

Hehe, youre probably right ;) one hint is to mark the artists you like as favorite ones....helps you not to miss at least the stuff you are sure you like :)

For me personally, I only have time to visit the Vue galleries on a regular basis. It's quite the shame, as there are some superb artists in the 2d forum, as noted on the home page & some great photgraphy I've had an occasion to visit. Due to lifes contraints, I MUST concentrate on learning software and not spend/waste a lot of time toodling around in galleries :(. I do spend time in the forums, as I find most of the people quite helpful & there advice invaluable. So anything that speeds my learning process is always welcome :) I say must learn for my own personal reasons.

Well with the click of one button I was able to reduce the daily gallery/all by more than 50%. (Nudity, NO) There is some good art there but for me I found it was more a distraction. What would be nice is if we had the option to fine tune the filter, for instance I would like to deselect the fractal area. I do not want to demean anyones work but I would like to reduce the volume with out having to choose one gallery at a time. Gary

I personally like the ability to go and look at stuff in different galleries; I find some lovely stuff (like a photographer I just came across), and can get ideas and inspiration by some of the stuff out there. I have limited time during the week, so I only read a few forums regularly, and do quick fly-bys of the galleries that I'm interested in.

Well, if R'City could win a race with dripping molases, THAT would be a big help. Waiting 15-20 seconds between pages eats your time up. I pity the poor people on dial-up even more!
