I bought the V3 Mermaid Platinum club deal series last year and now I want to do a mermaid with long wavy underwater hair- as shown in the DAZ product pages. BUT- I can't find the hair, and even a call to DAZ turned up nothing- they don't know who's hair was used... This hair also shows up in add-on mats by Silverlief Studios, but she apparently doesn't answer her emails anymore (I've tried several times). My GUESS is that maybe this was something ANTON did as some kind of Freebie maybe? Or, is this some kind of special setting for Bombshell hair? It's ODD, that no one seems to know about this hair, yet it is repeatedly shown in numerous DAZ product pages connected to Mermaid add-on's. (Not fishing for DAZ Bashing here- just looking for any useful info on how to get this look for a Mermaid I'm doing...)

I do know that the hair in pics 3 and 4 are from Antons Magik effects pack. Not quite sure about the first 2 though.

AHA!- Thanks Gill! That appears to be the one I'm looking for. I already had it but couldn't find it under any Mermaid searches. I guess you can use it WITHOUT the "magic" effects too (will have to try it). But it's still interesting that Silverlief shows it on several DAZ product pages with "rainbow" hair effects- but there don't appear to be any matching MATS for the hair... ODD...

this is a add on for the hair it has the rainbow colors with it. :O)

AHA Again! Thanks SndCastie- I had looked at that one and thought it was some kind of Fairy (Faery?) deal and did not associate it with the Mermaid at all. Heh!... All together the hair, rainbow mats, etc make for a nice Mermaid pack (and they would obviously work on the GIRL as well)... Well- that's the ticket- and all at $1.99 prices too! DAZ just needs to find a way of marketing this, I think. NOW- just wondering when they will be giving away Steph 3 and David! Already have S3, but a free David could certainly kick-start some David add-on sales. THAT must be in the works down the road, maybe...

RuntimeDNa has an incredible mermaid tail as well, and OddDitty.com has some impressive poses for that tail that can be adjusted to work with the daz tail.

By the way... go to RDNA and pick up ALL of Maveris's Headgear and Helmets in the free sections. There are some really super ones for mermaids in there.

Also, I think Traveler put some bubbles in the freebies too!
