Subject: Rendering big Scenes with Poser 5?

I have a big Poser Scene and Poser 5 hang up, while rendering this scene using Fire Fly. In 3ds Max I can split a big scene with rendering elements and composing it with Photoshop. Can I do this with Poser 5 too? Or is there another way to handle big scenes? Thanks for your help. I'm using Poser 5 german with all service packs, Win XP on a System with an AMD Athlon 2400, 512 DDR. ATI 9200 SE.

You can do the same thing with Poser 5. Just save individual elements of the render with an alpha channel and composite it back together in Photoshop. - Noel

If you save as tif or png the renders will be saved with an alpha channel, I think that psd files have an alpha channel too.

Do you get an out of virtual memory message just before this happens. If you do then up your VM settings manually and that will sort the hangs. Worked for me anyway when mine was hanging!

Injustice will be avenged.
