Subject: Has anyone applied the new beta?

Just wondering if anyone has applied and played with the new beta. I jumped right in last time and got burned, so I haven't as yet. Just curious.

Don't bother, if the vegetation issue is what you want resolved.
This update does not solve the problem with loading additional
vegetation into Vue. The program will tell you that you have loaded
the vegetation successfully (provided you don't follow the
instructions - otherwise it won't) but the vegetation file will
still be unuseable. It is a beta, after all... :

I have tried it! and it seems to make the program more stable.I have only used it for going back and forth adjusting poser figures and then animating.So far so good. I haven't recieved any out of memory banners. arrow1

More stable? Big dealthe only stability problems I've had are with the vegetation, specifically the two that crash the program and trying to load the additional plants.

More stable is a good thing for those of us who crash with constant OOM messages :(. Still waiting for more replies, before I dive in. I guess everyone has their own different gripes/wishlist for fixes :)

How much memory do you have? Other than the problems I've mentioned, it seems stable as the average continental shield.

2g......100+ avail. HD....Still, I'm going to be watching the e-on threads, before I do anything more with it. This is my personal position as of now...this is NOT a rant against e-on. Right now I have no time or patience to be a 2nd hand Beta-tester. I'm an accountant by day(lol) & we have gone full blown into tax season..our new software upgrade at work is full of bugs & I spent close to 2 hours on the phone yesterday with their tech support. Just can't have accounting software having calc. bugs...not acceptable. So my patience is totally non-existant at this time. So until the time I see multiple people stating this is stable, I will re-engage until then no way. Way too many people have reported OOM errors to be an individuals PC problem. I must save what sanity I have left, as tax season has just begun :(...
