Subject: How To Get Daz Studio To Work With XP-Pro?

I've tried everything and it still crashed on me when I go to start it. I'd rather see if I could use that with V3 & M3 instead of Poser4. I'm hoping it's not my graphics driver or I need a newer graphics card for windows. As some of the forum members at D/S had the same problem. So, my question: how did you guys get D/S to run on windows?

What graphics card do you have? S3 models aren't working at all at the moment, Intel do work at least partially and Ati and nVidia cards mostly work, as long as you have up-to-date manufacturers drivers (the MS drivers rarely provide adequate OpenGL support). I'm using an FX5200, which seems to be the bottom of nVidia's current range, with Windows XP SP2 and both the current and previous (July) drivers were fine for me with the current D|S build.

I was having the same problem. I updated my Nvidia graphics driver and it fixed the problem.

That's prob my problem too, hopefully it will just be my driver is out dated. I'll hve to check and pray I can update it without having to get a new graphics card.

Hmmm...I'm running XP Pro with Daz Studio and don't have a problem...but then I'm running a top-of-the-line ATI graphics card too.

I'm running it on a very old Dell laptop. It's prob my graphics driver. Guess I'll be stuck using Poser4 for a while longer. lol.
