"right now it takes me a very long time due to me being use to Wings3D (right click and BAM all my functions are right there...as opposed to Blenders Hotkey hunt...but this is just my opinion and unfamiliarity with the app...not meant as a flame.)" :rolls eyes: space bar in Blender does the same thing :D

Well Im forcing myself to learn to model in Blender. right now it takes me a very long time due to me being use to Wings3D (right click and BAM all my functions are right there...as opposed to Blenders Hotkey hunt...but this is just my opinion and unfamiliarity with the app...not meant as a flame.)
Anywho while modeling another phone this morning I began noticing that if I click on a single vert and move it, it was actually tugging its neighbors along with it.
Well a couple of posts to some other forums and a few misunderstandings later, I figgered out the reason the other verts were appearing to move was because I had the OPtimize setting checked in my editing settings.
Just passing on the info. If your other verts are moving double check to make sure you arent:
A. In PE mode (hit O -oh- key. Youll see the porpotional falloff selector appear in the header area. Hot O again to get out of PE mode.
B. Working with Optimize engaged.
