I was just wondering, is there any other site were you guys post your images? I don't mean personal sites but communities like renderosity, preferably ones were your work doesn't get buried after 2 minutes. Please don't take this as a complaint, I really do want to know. Niki

I post on Poser Pros and renderotica (When subject matter warrents it). I also maintain a gallery with another artist. A group things for our RP. But at least you can count on our group having original work.

Yeah. That's an annoyance. Unfortunately, in a community of this size -- it's unavoidable.

The administration helped the problem somewhat by reducing the number of gallery posts per day per user. But the galleries still tend to move past with the speed of a graffiti-painted bullet train. This makes it hard to get many views.

There's a type of catch-22 in operation here.

Lots of contributors on a popular website = a flood of gallery images vying for attention. This means that it's difficult for one's voice to be heard above the noise of the crowd.

On the other hand, very few contributors = more time on the front page. But this state of affairs usually indicates that there is a sparse pool of potential viewers.

So, you pay your money and you take your choice.

However, the gallery is free. So you don't have to pay anything to use it. It's a great deal.

Yup rendervisions.com a smaller community but a more personal community.

It's not like it's either-or. None of the galleries require that the image not be posted elsewhere. You can post here, and at Rendervisions, and at 3DCommune, and at DAZ, etc. The best of all worlds. :-)

I post here, 3dcommune, poser pros, and daz :) Can you post on rdna too?? For some reason I didn't think you could...

If you have access to newsgroups, there is also alt.binaries.3d.poser and alt.binaries.comp-graphics I like to post pictures there and the people there are very friendly and supportive. Rita has some very nice things.

I didn't know there were all these options!!! I've been visiting most of these sites for years but I never thought about posting there. That's exactly what I was searching for. Thank you for the help:) Niki(seeker)
