Hi, I'm trying to put on the Long Sleeve Dress that Shogakusha made in the free stuff section. I have the F202 character, i just need to put the Long sleeve dress on her. I have IM shogakusha for help & she said the fourms shall help you out. so here i am. I don't want to animat the dress, i just want it on the F202 character, but they have all this vortex & pologon collision crap, & i just want the stupid thing on the F202 character. I have done a search on "Cloth Room" & i need to read the link Tutorials you all have put on. I was wondering if there was a really simple basic step by step way. I know SamT would know. Anyone out there behind this screen that can help me....I'm so lost........

Alpha, Sorry I could not give you more time earlier, but I was still at work. Did you attempt the tutorial from the link I sent you? While I understand you are not interested in making an animation, dynamic clothing does require you to make a Cloth Dynamic Calculation which is basically a small animation across a limited number of frames (usually 15 to 30 frames). You need to load the F202 character into your scene. Turn off IK on both her legs. Bring up the Joint Editor and click 'Zero Figure' to zero out all joint bends. Load the SleeveDress prop. Make sure it is parented to the hip of the F202 character. Advance the animation frame counter to frame 30, then apply the pose you want to the F202 character. Go to the Cloth Room and click New Simulation. Enter 10 in the Draping Frames field, accept the other defaults and click OK. Click Clothify and select SleeveDress-Femme from the list if it is not already selected. Click Clothify button. Click Collide Against. Click Add/Remove button. Mark the checkbox for Figure 1 (this should mark all checkboxes for Figure 1 body parts. Click OK. Set Collision offset and Collision Depth to ~0.450. Click OK. Click Calculate Simulation. Watch as Poser advances through frames 1 to 30, and F202 takes on your pose with the SleeveDress following her. Dynamic cloth does take patiance and a bit of learning, but the results can be wonderfully realistic. If you are still having problems, post an image here showing what is going wrong. Good Luck! Shogakusha
