THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: What it is to be young

scoleman123 ( ) posted Fri, 14 January 2005 at 9:04 AM · edited Sat, 27 July 2024 at 6:10 AM

i found out last night that a good friend of mine in Detroit heard i was dead. how is a mystery, but i informed him of the truth. any way, i looked at some of your pages (to all brycers) and i thought you were all in late teens to late thirties. not to be rude but that was a shock to find it wrong. since i am 15 dose that make me the youngest?

I think the average age of frequenters of this forum is about early to mid forties. I judge this by the OT subjects people post. Much of the reminiscing tends to be from the 60s and 70s. I don't know if you are the youngest, but if I get my daughter to post you'd be old. She's only 5.

Are we talking about IQ's again? I like the diverse age range here. It shows that whatever age people are, they can have similar hobbies and views. I have no problem sharing my age. I'm only 21 after all. (and 179 months)

I fought with the Royal North Carolina Highlanders against those upstart Colonials. I lied about my age and joined when I was 12.

I will reach the age on my next birthday when the ptb in the UK heap you with all sorts of freebies, like bus passes and such. Oh and btw my younest grand daughter regularly browses the forum, in company with her Mum, but she hasn't started using Bryce (yet). She's almost 5.

Yes, its cheaper than her keep phoning Grandma, she gets Mum to tell her what Grandma is saying on the PC, and some she can read herself. She loves the images. She has some crayola programs and another couple of graphics progs on her PC, so it shouldn't be too long before she gets into Bryce!

Scoleman, it concerns me that in the very few postings here you have mentioned death in as many posts. I know full well that teenagers have a very tough life living amongst other teenagers that can be very brutal at times towards each other. Its a time that most people start to discover themselves and their personalities and with the raging hormones can be a very trying and confusing time in our lives. If we can be of any help, please, just ask! Most of us have been there, each with their own special insight, so dont be afraid to ask if you need help. Just an offer from a friend.

scoleman123 ( ) posted Sat, 15 January 2005 at 7:49 AM

HA! Ha! no, no help is needed. i just thought the side story was humerous. i am not about death, that is why i have a pheniox on my class ring, it respresents life and rebirth.

43 next month.... and every year gets shorter and shorter. But I am enjoyin' them. Mentally I am only about 20. Physically I feel like I am about 185. And yes it is cool that there is such a diversity in ages here.

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.

A whiner is about as useful as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest.
