For this I thought I could use the 'City Lights' map I think Rochr posted. Well, the city lights were far too small for what I wanted so I created something else in PSP7. (See top pic)
My surprise came when I applied it to a cube booleaned (transfer material of negative boolean checked) into the top of the ship's control tower. Instead of just some randomly placed white lights I saw what looked like an entire control room, complete with head-up displays, computers and people......ok so you have to use a little imagination here......but it blew me away anyhow.....
