Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
Hi-
Well, thank you Little Dragon & PhilC.
Setting the tracking was the trick. Not mentioned in the tutorial, of course.
I was also able to discover one other requirement which wasn't documented. The correct figure must be chosen. At one point, I had her bikini top walking and the model responding out of sync. When I selected the model, the halter top came into sync.
Thanks to you all, I've successfuly finished the first portion of the Poser5 Tutorial and I can complete my annotated entries for the entry level tutorial.
Thank you. That includes the people who helped me before I asked this question.

Ref Poser5 Manual Animate Tutorial page69.
I am able to get the model(s) to walk in place, but when they started to move, they were not displayed rendered, but in the abstract block form.
I tried this with several models both rendered and unrendered. The results was always the same.
I am not trying to make a movie, I just was trying to get the model to walk in place.
Does the model just not walk as a rendered model? If yes, why can't I do it. :-)
Sooooo, when I/you get this hiccup into my head, I will be able to complete my annotated comments on the first three (now four) pages of the Manual's tutorial.
Thanks - Jim
