Hey, I work for the Government. I learned a long time ago not to expect anything "until the paperwork's in your hand". That way you're not disappointed if you don't get it and overjoyed if you do. So in a way it's a backwards way of thinking positive - honest. ;-) Nope, it's not in my gallery yet. I may put it there once I hear back one way or the other. And I am definitely excited. jon

Always a good rule not to post anything on the galleries or elsewhere on the web if you want to enter into a contest or be published. I'm with you, jon. When I see the letter in my hand or hear the voice on the telephone line, then I count my hatched chicks. Until then, they are simply promising eggs. :)
