I am also still tweaking that cannon bone areas and hock..may not get it perfect, but will do the best I can.
I have since this pic - added a morph to make the base of the ear (the part on the head itself) larger, and I have done some adjustment on the bone above the eye so it does not go all the way to the ear. As I said...I love horses and I can't help myself! :)

I tried to find it as I got the upgrade to the mil big cat but can't find where it has one and there is no download on the item's page so can't help you there :O(

I understand the template has not changed all that much...been in contact with LaurieS... the new maps (spots) are really well done... and looking at her map I can see where the spots have to be big and some small to have them all come out the same.. frankly I was surprised at the lack of EARS on the map - inside and out... and now on reading more about the BC's cat's mesh or body group parts/shapes in the DAZ forum.. I am not at all sure I will be working with it... it is tempting to see what morphs I might add... but... the house cat is sooo nice to work with... quandry If I do work on the BC.. I will re-map it for sure but have it NOT conflict with the original cr2-obj... the new UVS file will call to a new cr2, and of course you have to have the obj to use my uvs... IF AND WHEN... For now, all my attention between dentist visits will go to the Mil horse, which I am very happy working on... got it's eye map done and some eyelash morphs done (lower eyelashes only go part way across...could only pull them 3/4 way across but its' better).

Update..since I have two threads going here...I am repeating this part... regarding my mil horse progress.. Well I am having a bit of a fight with the TAIL....got the body pretty much done..eye map...but there is no tail template in the templates..so I made one from the obj...but it was not working right with the trans map or even the color hair texture...really really odd! I have some messages out to folks that might give me some pointers...so am stopping for a bit while I still have MY hair left! ;)

Lyne, I had a look at the obj file in UV Mapper_ I don't know whether this will answer your question_but I notice that if you select the tail 'groups' there's an overlapping area which must correspond to the central solid core of the tail. If you select by tail 'material'you loose that area. The overlapping area on the map is in the 'coat' material zone. Prob too simple a solution that but hope it helps!
Hmmm thanks, Noggin, that is another clue.. I found one thing I may have done wrong this morning, but that information helps.. cannot honestly remember if I selected in mapper with groups or materials! I will post a pic when I get it right! :) feeling better now! :)

Well my own hair is thinning... ! I now regard my TRANS maps in my upcoming set as a "freebie included" in case anyone wants to use them for the bridal path, etc, and do a bit of post on parts....but as you can see I did a test using both Moonrose and the DAZ mane trans maps with my texture. That works well, and I also found that it may be possible to use the DAZ tail trans with my tail textures... the words on my tail texture might show up in some cases but they did not with the chestnut. It has been a real trial to try and figure out the "whys and wherefores" of this trans map situation for the mil horse, so now I am going to just continue to convert my other P4 horse body textures, and create other colors of mane and tail textures to include. With the DAZ and/or Moonrose textures this will give quite a variety! :)For those of you reading this in the Showcase forum thread, there is a "final chestnut body and head" render in my gallery - in the Showcase Gallery section. I DID NOT BUY THE BUNDLE, I DO NOT HAVE THE FOAL! My plan on the foal was to continue to use my Ultimate P4 horse freebie foal morphs for foals... I have not even attempted to see if the Mil horse will "dial" into a foal itself - what I have seen in this early stage of work, it may not. Moonrose has some fantastic maps for the horse AND THE FOAL at DAZ!
Time frame - a while yet, as I have JUST started and as some of you know, the long over due dentist work I have to go through is putting a big dent in my work time... a lot of the time I don't feel like working.
I do want to convert all my current commercial P4 high res photo real maps to the mil horse, make new mane and tail maps, new trans maps (mane needs a bridle path trans for one). I may not be able to resist doing additional new textures, since I am foremost a "horse person" and this is really a great joy for me. The map layout is much more difficult, and takes longer for each texture map. (yes using the original map layout, no re-map here)
There is a lot more complex mapping to this horse, and then more complex MAT making too. I am also still "nit picking" morphs on him. I will post new pictures as I work, but if there is a gap in my posts just think "the D word" (dentist... ick!) :/
Pricing will be my normal "very reasonable" but I am not sure what exact price right now, not knowing how many textures will be in it. I have not even started the mane and tail maps (also more complex) and may want to have different MATs so you can put different colors with different body maps. I have to get further into the project to see how it will work out.
