Hey there, I've been getting email from someone working out the tutorial I did about the Raging Sea (from the challenge) and they say there's no ligthing lab in B4. Could someone post what happens when you select edit on a radial light so I can see what they're talking about? This would be greatly appreciated. Also is there a mask render i mode in B4?

Here you go. I even showed the dropdown menu from clicking on the triangle. And yes, mask render is an option in Bryce 4.

Zhann, There is a light lab in B4, but it doesn't have all the options that B5 does. I would post a screen grab, but I couldn't start up B4. Sorry. Also, B4 does have the mask render mode. HTH, Mike

Argh, the all-too-familiar Bryce 4 light lab, how I loathe it!

So you just drag in the specific window to get what you want? Geez, what a pain.....

Yeah, that's it! That's what Bryce4 has instead of a Light Lab. (couldn't figure out how to do a screen grab, sorry Zhann.)

So I just guessed about what colour "pale champagne" was.

So as there IS a mask render option in Bryce4 - where is it?

Click on the little triangle pointed out in this picture, and the list of render options will pop up. Mask render is one of 'em.
