Naa, just kidding. Just wanted to share this one. :) They licensed two more images, but i havent seen those yet.

Thanx guys. Got two cards for the three images, which was better then what they offered in cash. Goes into my next machine. Just one good way of not having to pay taxes all the time. :)

Definitely saves me some money. The bad part was to render this one in high res. 15 days non-stop! I really really love Bryces ability of multitasking... :)

Awesome Rudy. Just Awesome. And it is sweet that you got 2 cards in exchange for the images. But 15 days.... that is the painful part eh? 8) Cool stuff man.

That's great! Shame that it's going inside the machine hidden from view. Also a shame that 99% of people will be in such a rush to plug it in to play HL2, that they won't notice the artwork they've purchased. Sorry, I'm on a downer at the mo. Hence the pessimism.

Congrats, Rochr. Very well deserved. If the cards are PCI Express, you can bridge them together on the same board, provided that the MB has PCIE slots. That would be sweet.

I usually scare of the landlord by showing the tentacles. :D These are all old images, and already had two of them in higher resolutins, so i only had to re-render this one. (Saved on 35 different CDs so i dont have to run the risk of doing it again) Already have the lady(although she would have to move if Halle Berry came to visit), and are still saving up for the mansion. I figure ill have the cash somewhere around 2546 if all goes well. A new machine is on its way, wont be costing any $10000 though, more like 3. Here, these cards cost 3649 sek, around $515.

DAMN... They are rich!! :O Here we have "Casema" a waaay smaller company. They now do the cable like the local authorities used to do. Since the take-over they've been trying to increase prices with stupendously high percentages (30%-50% is not rare). These price increases are so high that they're apparently not lawfull so they get sued all the time and as a result they sometimes get forced to lower the price increase to lower percentages.

We have "basic" Cable, plus a (kinda lame) "movie" package which includes a handful of channels that run older movies (It's called Star/Encore) That costs us $50/month. And, my cable modem is supplied from the same company. That costs me another $50/month (but, its 3mbps fast) Now...they want to be my phone company...again, for about $50/month. No thanks, lol. AS

hey :) that's a pretty decent price on your cable modem there! I'm at 220-240 Kbyte/sec (in practice) at the moment, for probably about the same price. $50 per month for the phone sounds expensive though, compared with the phonebill I get here :P
