Hello I already posted a message of this kind but I am not very lucky. Here two years that I seek hopelessly a "japanese jointed ball dolls" NOT FOR A COMMERCIAL USE in poser or another format 3d (Maya max lightwave). UNFORTUNATELY I found only one model and the Japanese originator does not answer any of my mails. There was a headstock of this type on the Home Page of the "Maya Studio" but several emails were never followed of answer? Also a creator (Muu Moo ?) have one but never answer to gaijin Somebody could it help me by telling me the name of a salesman to Japan or the name of a store in Japan which sells models 3d I really despair to find a japanese jointed balls dolls in 3d. I want to pay well a person in Japan which would find this for me. Thank you

Unfortunately it s NOT a jointed Balls Dolls I think he put the pictures of an other creator dolls in his front page and i think also it s was the Muu (Moo ?) creation and this man is not ready for overseas relation i think ???.

The only one I have ever seen is Muu's which I seriously doubt will be made widely available. Have you considered posting something in one of the modelling forums and asking someone to custom build one for you? If your willing to pay I bet there is someone willing to build one :)

The doll you speak of way made by Moo and given to Maya so as to be beta tested. I have the feeling from a thread at another site that Moo only wants to give his doll to other Japanese artists.

Thank you for the nice answers. Another problem is also to create its own model (what is better) to find documentation on this kind of doll in high resolution if possible. I am true in love with Japanese subculture but it is so difficult to break the famous barrier "overseas". I do not despair to find an exit favorable to my search sometimes the things which one hopes for arrive by hazard. I downloaded the images of an artist Europn Hans Bellmer and I found his marvellous dolls but they do not have the magic aspect of the dolls Japanese fragilistic woman. I am already happy to have bought creations of Toshiyo and Maya and the wonderfull that Sarsa and Thorne produced. Thank you still and excuse me for my terribly bad English.

Well upon a google search for Japanese Ball Jointed Dolls, I must say that there are some great artists outthere, my 6 year old daughter is in love with the work of Satou Miho, and I must say so am I the dolls are so realistic in the face, absolutly great. As for a poser character with the look, Aiko from daz is close but you would have to change her face, I saw a few that looked like sixus HER as well, there are so many styles of these dolls that you would need to me more specific in the look you want, with links to hte dolls and such.

You may want to try the web site of the Japanese doll manufacturer Volks. The doll Moo created seemed to resemble some of the items for sale there under the name of Dolfie, if I recall correctly.
