For some reason Im having problems posting my new pics, which is odd since Ive posted at least 40 previously. Im posting them at around 140 dpi and roughly 2000 by 2000 pixels. Im under the size required to post yet Im having no luck. Im tried posting at 100 dpi and 72 dpi. Still no luck. Im compressing them with the standard jpeg compression used in photopaint. What size (dpi and measurements) do you usually post at? Do anybody have any idea as to whats going on. Everytime I post an image it loads up but with a blank white square with a red x in it. Whats worse is that everyone who has me listed as a fav artist gets notified of a new pic...but with nothing there. Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated Thanks Bruce

I'm guessing that you're over the file size limit. The maximum is 512kb. At 2000x2000 I'm thinking you're likely over that if you're at a high dpi. Can you check the file size of the image you're trying to post?

Nope, thats not it either. Im under the 512k limit and under the 15k limit for the thumbs

OK, I'm going to move this thread to the Community Centre forum then, and hopefully an admin can look into this for you. In the meantime, can you let us know what browser you're using?

I tried uploading a picture today again - no luck. Could it be the picture? Im using microsoft internet explorer.

PerfectN, If you will send me the thumbnail and image via E-Mail I will try a test upload to the Art Gallery to see if I can figure out whats wrong. Clint

Honestly I don't have a clue. Ghostwind saved the original as a bmp then converted it to a jpeg. And that seemed to work. I uploaded a new one today easily.. Who knows??
