first of all, hopefully, you are doing incremental saves of you pz3 as you work along, so if one gets really messed up you can toss it and go back to the next prior version... To respond directly, you likely have spline interpolation turned on for the frames involved. Making little tiny changes in one spot under this 'mode' is a sure-fire way to create chaos and flying body parts just forward and/or back of the changes. Make a new copy of your master. Go into the animation pallet. Change the frames to 'linear section', or even 'constant section'. This will stablize things. But more important, you may wish to begin working in graphs. There you will SEE the affect of a move on all the frames around the move. ::::: Opera :::::
Sorry cedric, I am work in my day job and it is crazy here. Can't help you immediately. There was a post about 'advice for beginning animators" recently. Also, check out Dr. Geep's tutorials, I'm sure he has one on this level. Also, others may chime in. For your part, it's only fair we ask you to read the Poser5 manual on the chapter for animiation. It is thin, but will give you the fundamentals. ::::: Opera :::::

Ok, First off, Hello all. Now, How on earth do you animate in poser 5. Let me explan. Im did a mimic animation in mimic and got that working... fine no problem. Now I want to go back and do some settle animations with the body. On frame one, I leave all body parts set where they start off at. On frame 256, I move the left fore arm just a smidge, (i basically want just settle movements) then on frame 265, I do a more drastic arm move. So the way it SHOULD flow is that from frame 1 - 256 a small forearm move, then from 257 - 265 the real noticable arm move. But thats not whats happening, when i play the animation, starting on frame 1 the arm is moving like mad? Why, can someone explan how do do simple animations in poser, I understand keyframing and all, just a simple note on what I may be doing wrong. Thanks, Cedric
