Hi, As the title says, I'm new to Poser. After a week or so of playing around with it and downloading most of the freestuff, I've come to the conclusion that I'm I don't have a clue. I've been interested in 3D modeling for a long time (ever since the Amiga days with VistaPro), but up until now have not had either the resource or the time to let my creative juice flow. I recently aquired a copy of Poser5 along with a semi-decent workstation and have been trying to get my head round it ever since. I can manage to load figures etc, get the clothing to conform and use the poses I've downloaded but I'm having real problems creating my own poses (Judy always seems to end up looking like a crash test dummy, post crash) as well as creating dynamic hair. I've read through most of the Poser tutorials on Rendosity and have managed to render a couple of nice - if staged looking - scenes. I now want to try something more advanced, I've got a scene in my head but getting it from there into the computer is giving my nightmares, I guess I've probably tried to run before I can walk. I guess what I'm looking for is a "Poser for Dummies" guide that can explain how to pose realistically, and also a glossary of 3D Jargon into English. If anyone has any helpful links it would be much appreaciated.
