Thanks very much. It was nominated for a golden tori, but I think Bambam (quite rightly) beat me. 936 downloads and I've seen maybe 6 pictures with it. I guess it's sitting on 930 hard drives gathering dust.

Either that mate or it got sick of sitting around and buzzed off somewhere ;) I wonder who nominated you for the tori award :)

It would seem anyone who looks at the Delphi Bryce forum can nominate and ANYONE can be nominated (as long as they do Bryce pictures I guess)

For Groingrinder: Golden Tori Awards has been running since 1999.. The Delphi Forum was long associated with the Watchful Eye site where the Bryce Select Gallery was. In December, we collect nominations in a bunch of different categories. Anyone who comes to the forum can do make nominations. Anyone who uses Bryce can be a nominee. Simple, really. If a picture or artist receives enough noms, it goes to the vote stage. (This year it was two noms to qualify.) In January, we begin voting. Anyone who comes to the forum can vote, also. Votes end, and are counted to coincide with the anniversary of the Forum: usually the Saturday closest to Jan. 23. Big chat room party, much silliness, lots of great pics and artists to talk about, much cheering for the winners. Since the Watchful Eye gallery closed, we keep an eye on the other Bryce galleries, such as here at R'osity, and at 3D Commune, among others. So that's why Phil Drawbridge (and others like Flak and Rochr) were nominated, and some won their own Tori Award. Yes, Big Brother IS watching YOU!
