Len i guess you didn't think of ebay..just found 2 posters of that image on there up on auction and they still have a couple of days to go on them.. use the link.I have opinions of my own -- strong
opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.
@CrazyDawg
Thanks dude. Yes, I thought of ebay, unfortunately though, that's not the one.
It's the right picture alright, but there's quite a few of that version - the one I'm after is cropped differently to that and it's like "6 foot" accross or something.
When you see one, it's sheer size alone makes you think, WTF that's awesome!
Thanks all the same though :-)

That IS basically an out of print poster, you most likely will have to find a poster of it through e-bay or similar. (I used to manage a poster/framing store) And, who knows, you might get lucky and find an online store that would have a copy left. The Photographer, Richard Avedon had died in 2004, so perhaps re-prints will be made available of his work sometime in the future. AgentSmith

Yeah I agree, I'd NEVER sell it if I had it. I'd go to 600 for the 6 (or is that 8) footer.
@Vile
My eyes are greener than her's with envy, you lucky b**tard!
Your wife has some of the same features?
...oh I see, you mean she's got a pet serpent ;-P
@AgentSmith
Thanks man! Have to say though, I didn't know he'd died :-(
I think you're right about re-prints though, I'd heard of the negative going for unbelievable amounts at auction recently. I suppose they intend to do something with an investment like that - they'll make a fortune if they do.
Bet they don't offer extra large prints though :-/

-extra large prints; I don't believe so, but I'm not 100% certain. From what I remember, I've never seen any available, even through print dealers. AS

What with the cool Russian atmosphere 'round here lately, I thought I'd grab an opportunity to pick your brains on something;
I've been after the print of this Russian babe for far too long now. It's called "Nastassja Kinski And The Serpent", photographed by Richard Avedon.
I saw it once, and thought oh yes, I just gotta have one of those ;-) Years went by though, and I left it too late. When I got round to deciding to actually BUY one, I simply couldn't find one - and believe me I've tried BIG-TIME!
Even went as far as tracking down the publishers, to get the lowdown.
They told me that it's a very old print now, and they only have their archived prints (not for sale). However, they offered me some hope by saying; major distributors sometimes hold onto stock for many years, so it's not impossible that there'll be some remaining.
I tried EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING I could think of here in England, but no luck :-(
I was wondering if any of the Brycers here may have seen this print for sale recently in their country. The print above is MASSIVELY cropped, and the actual print is HUGE and looks absolutely awesome I can tell ya :-P
I want it on the studio wall, so PLEASE, if anyone can help me in any way on this, please do :-)
I'm after a "mint" copy if possible.
Len.
