I am making a special Callisto movie and need to render shooting flames, not one image but a movie of flames firing out like a flame thrower. I can render single images and need to make a movie. I would appreciate any help.

I'm a little confused by your question. You need to figure a way to make a moving flame movie? I've made some successful explosions with metaball objects deformed (with a dense atomizer) and rendered with an aura filter. By stretching the object and moving it appropriately, I've successfully simulated moving flame. If you can give a bit more detail, we might be able to give more specific pointers. BTW, what's a Callisto movie?

Thank you for your reply. I have experimented with the fire object and have accomplished a test render I am using on my movie. Callisto, as in the Xena based character. The movie is posted on the following newsgroup for those interested: alt.binaries.multimedia.xena-herc 7 Meg movie, did little compression, wanted the details. Thank You
