Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 27 1:15 pm)
Yeah....but you gotta edit in several different places. To add a new body part (as, essentially, you are doing), you gotta mention it in all the affector channels of the preceeding part, and you gotta edit the part you are adding so it refers to its new parent, and you need to add to the actor list at the top of the file, and the add-actor, inkey, and weld sections at the bottom. A lot of editing, but...I've done it. You got a copy of "Secrets of Figure Creation for Poser 5" yet?
Amazon's got it. Best Poser investment I ever made. Can't tell you how much time it saves having list-out of all the cr2 parts, ERC code, easy-pose code, etc., right there. Not, however, for the faint of heart; think of it as the Dragon Book for Poser. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0240519299/qid=1106952532/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/102-6770938-1095342

I'm making 5 new figures and could not face the prospect of boning and setting up the joints on 5 pairs of hands! So I made the figures with no hands and took the hands off a Poser cartoon figure and parented them to the forearms of my new figures. This works, but it makes for a confusing time in the key frame editor as each figure now consists of 3 figures! I'm wondering if I could now make them into one figure by editing the CR2 file?I've got hold of an editor but find it a bit daunting.Does anyone know if its possible to do this?
