Well i have started to work on a city scene. Unlike the masters of Bryce(drac,Rochr,TheBryster,AS,Orbital) and others(to many to name) i have yet been able to master doing a city scene. IMO the buildings are over crowding the scene plus there is something else that either needs fixing or adding but i can't but my finger on it so here i am asking for your help on it guys....no i'm not going to put a naked Vicky or Mike in it...i don't want to add anything that is a poser prop unless i get desperate ;) CrazyDawg Be nice, i bite.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

The foreground column seems a bit obtrusive. Perhaps rethink it's position?

Thats ok we Know what to do with Dawgs that Bite....Click click... Great job... First off let it finish rendering...doh Next I would have to say is,And I made this mistake all too often and that is useing the same model over and over...Use the city of Dystopia from Mobius87...Check the free section in Bryce I think I saw a section or two of his cities for FREE download... Or if you are like most everybody seems they are moving towards useing Wings3D to model buildings and stuff then bring into Bryce for Rendering... Either way you look at it you have a great start...

CD: I am humbled that you consider me to be one of the masters of Bryce. Thank you! I'd also move the column in the forground and let it finishe rendering. I'd also lose a few of the aircraft and add another type or two just to give it more interest. Great start so far!

You need more than one type of vehicle in the sky. Also buildings need windows and doors. Then there are outdoor lights and billboards.

I've been trying for years, and haven't got this far along. If you want to see good Cityscapes, look for an artist known as Kevin Cappis (I think he posts here, every now and again..;)

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

id put some ships in the bg. it'll give the sky more depth and add to the cities hustle and bustle.

my images isnt the best example but you get the idea. its just an ish-load of primitives.

Try moving the big one backwards and the smaller ones frontwards. You DEFINENTLY should look at "Dawn" by Rochr.
